Set up and manage uptime checks

You’ll add an Argus check so a public URL is probed on a schedule.

Before you start​

  • A reachable public URL or endpoint (HTTPS recommended)
  • Access to Argus in your organization

Add a check​

  1. Open Argus / Uptime.
  2. Create a new check.
  3. Enter a clear name, the URL to probe, and interval / expected status if shown.
  4. Save and wait for the first result.

Manage checks​

  • Pause during planned maintenance so you do not page the team.
  • Update the URL when domains change.
  • Delete checks you no longer need.

You’re done when​

  • The check shows a recent successful probe.
  • History updates over the next few intervals.
